Endangered animals October the 26, 2012

Endangered animals in Texas. First, endangered means from the dictionary"threatened with extinction." Now, there are 94 endangered plants and animals in Texas. Some examples are the Grey Wolf, Finback Whale, Texas Kangaroo Rat and more, but these are just the animals. There are plants that are endangered too. There is the Large-fruited Sand-Verbena, the South Texas Ambrosia, the Star Cactus and many more!
Now, how they got endangered? Well, there are multiple ways an animal or a plant can become endangered.  and we are the number one cause. Animals die because we destroy the animal's habitats. Doing this destroys the animal's home, food supplies or resources and if they are a predator, it destroys their prey. We also kill animals for our selfish need for the "Hottest" fashion accessories and clothing such as purses made of Alligator/Crocodile skin or scarves made of Foxes. We are the main reason that animals are endangered but we are also the solution! We can save important areas filled with endangered animals and keep them safe from harm and thoughs dreaded killers of nature, poachers! Together, we can stop this cause and make the world with beautiful animals and restore the ballance of nature!
